Employment Partner – Birmingham | Strategic Leadership Role

We’re working on a strategic Employment Partner appointment within an established national law firm’s Birmingham office.

This is a senior Employment Law Partner / Legal Director opportunity that has come about due to an evolving leadership structure, creating space for someone to take a genuinely hands-on role in Birmingham. The focus is on building and leading the local offering, rather than operating as an extension of another office.

The role

• Lead and develop the Employment Law offering in Birmingham
• Work closely with a well-established national Employment team
• Build client relationships across the Midlands and beyond
• Support and mentor junior lawyers within the Birmingham office
• Play a key role in the continued growth of the firm’s Birmingham legal team

• An established Employment Partner, or Senior Associate / Legal Director ready to step up
• Experience advising on a broad range of Employment law matters (contentious and non-contentious)
• A commercial and collaborative approach to client development
• A following is relevant, but not the sole driver for this hire
